An iPhone on iOS 26. Recording and transcription work on any of them. The sorting into an entry, to-dos and notes uses Apple Intelligence, which needs an iPhone 15 Pro or newer with Apple Intelligence switched on in Settings. Without it Spillo still records and keeps every word you said, exactly as you said it.
Check Settings, Apple Intelligence and Siri, and make sure Apple Intelligence is on. If you have just switched it on, the model may still be downloading; Spillo checks again on its own and will sort the entry once it is ready. You can also tap Try again on the entry.
Settings, Spillo, and turn on Microphone. If you declined the first time, the recorder shows a button that takes you straight there.
Touch and hold your Home Screen, tap the plus in the corner, search Spillo, and add it. Tapping it starts a recording. It works on the Lock Screen and in Control Centre too, and you can map the Action Button to it.
Yes. A Live Activity shows the timer and a stop button on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. Recording stops on its own after ten minutes.
Spillo keeps your words, not the audio. Recordings are discarded after transcription unless you turn on Keep recordings in Settings, and turning it back off deletes the audio it already had.
Touch and hold a to-do and choose Add to Reminders, or use Add to Reminders at the top of a spill to send them all. If you said a time, Spillo sets it.
Everything is on your iPhone. Settings, Delete everything, removes all of it.
